Discomfort

Struggling with discomfort can be challenging. When there is discomfort in the body, it affects your movement, mood, sleep and so much more. Often times people begin to over compensate, which can send your body into additional disfunction. Discomfort can, and oftentimes does, diminish your quality of life. When we live pain free, we are able to live life fuller and feel more alive. Here are a few of my favorite options for keeping discomfort to a minimum and manageable.

 

Essential Oils:

In a 10ml rollerball, add the following:

  • 20 drops Copaiba

  • 15 drops Lemongrass

  • 20 drops Frankincense

  • 20 drops Deep Blue

  • 15 drops Lavender

  • 15 drops Marjoram

  • Top off with Fractionated Coconut Oil

    Directions: Apply on the area of discomfort and rub in in a circular motion.

  • For additional relief, apply Deep Blue Rub on top of the essential oils.

Additional Modalities:

  • Infrared Sauna or Steam Room - helps reduce inflammation/pain and eliminates toxins. Infrared sauna is preferred. Try to visit 3-5 times per week for the first few weeks for best benefit.

  • Epsom Salt Baths - Ancient Minerals Magnesium Salt Flakes with baking soda and AromaTouch, Copaiba & Lavender essential oils. Run the bath as hot as you can stand and soak for 15-20 minutes. Do this 3x/week or as needed.
